Major meth ring drug bust occurs across Georgia

Recently a major drug bust occurred that resulted in the arrest of more than 90 people across Georgia.

Over 125 law enforcement agencies were recently involved in a meth ring drug bust across Georgia. Law enforcement agents seized nearly 10 pounds of meth along with weapons, vehicles, stolen property and more than $40,000 in cash. The sting operation was called “Operation Crystal Web” and involved many county sheriffs, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Marshalls Service, FBI, and the DEA. Over 90 people were arrested and are facing drug trafficking charges, distribution, firearm charges, among others.
