Biography

Mr. Crosby grew up in the metro-Atlanta area and honed his trial skills serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting felonies. As a prosecutor, Mr. Crosby successfully tried and convicted individuals charged with murder, rape, kidnapping, child molestation, armed robbery, drug trafficking, vehicular homicide, aggravated assault, forgery, theft among other charges. Before prosecuting Matt worked with his father, Attorney David Crosby in Atlanta where he not only defended those charged with crimes, he also handled complex civil litigation issues for corporate, as well as individual clients.

During his career, Mr. Crosby has had extensive litigation experience, appearing as lead counsel in well over two thousand felony criminal cases. He has tried over 150 jury and bench trials. Mr. Crosby has a significant amount of appellate experience as well, handling and successfully arguing cases in front of both the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. Mr. Crosby also served as an Assistant City Solicitor in the City of Suwanee, GA prosecuting misdemeanors such as DUI’s.

Mr. Crosby is married to his law partner with two children. He and his family live in Snellville, GA. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching college football, and exercising.
